Jalen Hurts’ 2 Siblings:

He commenced his teaching tenure at Parkview Intermediate within the Pasadena Independent School District, where he instructed in the Adaptive Behavior Unit.

Pamela, their mother, also boasts an educational background.

Engaged with the Channelview District in Texas, she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in counseling.

Within the educational realm, she assumed leadership as the head of the Special Services Department and served as a math special education teacher for grades 6-8 at Anthony Aguirre Junior High.

Jalen plans to finance his sister’s education

After being selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jalen secured a four-year, $6.02 million rookie contract.

Discussing his financial practices in a 2021 interview with GQ, Jalen outlined his approach to money management.

“Besides giving money to charity and saving it;

Jalen put some aside for his sister’s college. Even though she’s working hard and might get a volleyball scholarship.

“I haven’t told anyone, not even my parents or sister,” said the Eagles quarterback. “But just in case she needs it when she goes to college – she’s 16 now, and college is coming soon.”

He added, “I believe she’ll do great things, but I put away $70,000 for her college, just in case.”

Averion Jr. followed in their father’s footsteps

Averion Jr. transitioned from being his father’s protégé to assuming a coaching role himself.

In June 2023, he revealed his new positions as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Baytown Lee High School in Houston, alongside his appointment as head track coach.

Reflecting on his coaching journey in an Instagram post, Jalen’s brother expressed profound gratitude, stating, “There is no better feeling than hearing a kid say, ‘Coach’… This profession is truly fulfilling!”
