He is the longest-serving Russian or Soviet leader since Joseph Stalin.

Putin worked as a KGB foreign intelligence officer for 16 years before resigning in 1991.

He began his political career in Saint Petersburg and later moved to Moscow to join the administration of President Boris Yeltsin.

Putin briefly served as the director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and then as secretary of the Security Council of Russia.

He was appointed prime minister in August 1999 and became acting president following Yeltsin’s resignation.

From 2000, they were homeschooled for safety reasons.

They were known for their fitness, wushu classes, and proficiency in English, German, and French, with Katerina also knowing Korean.

Viktor succumbed to diphtheria during the Siege of Leningrad by Nazi Germany forces in World War II. Consequently, Vladimir did not have the chance to grow up alongside his brothers.
