Cesar Olalde, 18, faces charges of capital murder for the shooting deaths of his parents, Reuben Olalde and Aida Garcia, sister Lisbet Olalde, and brother Oliver Olalde, according to NBC News, KSLA, and Fox 23.

Police arrested Olalde on May 23 in Nash, a small town near the Arkansas border, following a standoff.

Authorities responded to a report of a man harming his family and threatening suicide, initiating the confrontation, NBC News reports.

Upon arrival, officers found Olalde barricaded in a home, where he claimed multiple family members were dead.

The authorities said that it seemed like someone shot the victims in different parts of the house and then moved them to the bathroom.

They found many used bullet casings on the floor and blood on many surfaces.

Next, Lisbet’s co-worker went to her house because she didn’t come to work.

When nobody answered the door, he and a family member broke into the house. Inside, Cesar Olalde pointed a gun at him.
